Professional Focus
My research interests broadly center on stream/river and coastal wetland ecology. In particular, I\'m interested in: 1) the influence of watershed characteristics (e.g., connectivity) and management practices on fish and invertebrate communities, 2) the extent and importance of ecosystem linkages (river-lake, aquatic-terrestrial), 3) stream/river restoration design and evaluation, 4) development of ecological indicators, and 5) conservation of species of concern, including freshwater mussels and Lake Sturgeon.
