Dr. Minakata's research interests include development of computational tools for various water and wastewater treatment technologies, innovative water treatment technologies, and sustainable energy harvesting technologies. His teaching interests include principles of physical chemical water and wastewater treatment processes, environmental process and design, computational environmental engineering.Sustainable water and wastewater treatment and management.
