My current research focus is on application of linked hydrodynamic and biological models to simulate impacts of invasive quagga mussels on primary production, nutrient cycles, and the lower food web of Lake Michigan. My previous research topics have included field measurements and modeling of the fate and transport of persistent organic pollutants in the Great Lakes.
